5 Tips to Grow your Business During Covid19

Today I’m sharing 5 Tip to Grow your Business During Covid19 for all business owners and brands. The simple answer is: Technology!

Whether you are a real estate agent, own a clothing store, a hairstylist, the type of business you have, does not matter. If you own a business or brand, one or all of the tips below can help!

But before I get into the tips, just wanted to share the most important thing you should be doing as a business: Keeping your employees in the loop! They should always know what’s going on with the business.

Now, on to the goodies!

5 Tips to Get your business through the Coronavirus Crisis:

  1. FaceTime/Skype: Do you have clients that you usually meet with? Don’t cancel the appointment! Schedule a Facetime call and keep the same level of professionalism. Just over facetime. Although you’re not physically meeting with someone, video calling them still allows the face to face interaction.
  2. Zoom: Are you instructor? Do you teach courses? Workout classes? Yoga? If you’re used to meeting with a group of people, this is the way to do it! Schedule a time for your classes (will you have one every Tuesday at 3pm?). You can still make an income (whether you choose to provide discount for your classes or not) by accepting PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, (or whatever app you use) for payments.
  3. Social Media: Whether the coronavirus is present or not, social media is one of the best ways to promote your business. During the Coronavirus Crisis, you should be letting your customers know what you’ve been working so that when outside is open, they are exciting to buy/come see you! Go on Instagram or Facebook live to answer any questions your customers may have. Are you a skin care company? Share free tips about how to properly wash your face or must have skin products. Clothing brand/store? Do an IGTV fashion show to showcase some of the things you’ve been working on that will come out soon. Real Estate agent? Use your live to show the vacant homes you have currently listed. This is also a great way to provide customers with tours to your apartment community or a home you’re selling if you’re a property manager or real estate agent. Virtual tours are IT right now! People still need to move and want the process to be as normal as possible. No matter what kind of brand you are, there’s endless opportunities to grow with social media marketing.
  4. Streaming: Are you an apartment complex? Host Netflix parties! Pick a show or movie to watch with your residents. Influencer, blogger, vlogger? This is THE time for video content! Show your audience how to do things. Teach them something new! I know I’ve personally been using this time to learn new things and YouTube has been my go-to! (It always has been honestly but now; I’ve been using it more than ever!
  5. Gaming: Now, gaming I don’t know much about but… I have a husband and seeing him play gave me an idea. Lol! If you have an audience/customer who enjoy gaming, host competitions with a winning prize. Everybody loves competition and prizes! Whether you choose to do a customer appreciation competition and gift the winner OR allow people to buy into the game (so that you make a profit) and reward the winner, it is totally up to you! You know what your customers like, so do just that!

If you look at all 5 tips that I shared, what do they have in common? You are required to use some form of technology. While we are all at home trying to get our businesses up and running OR to grow through this pandemic, having great service is key! Which brings me to Verizon! Not only do they have great service, the also have some great deals! If you’re anything like me, you like to save coins while getting the most out of your money.

If you are a nurse, a teacher, a part of a military family, a firefighter, or a first responder, you are in double luck. Check out the amazing deals they offer specially for you here!

The moral of the story is here: Make sure you have the best wireless service, get creative, promote your business, grow your brand, and make your money!

Kenniqua, these are all great tips! I don’t run or own a business but zoom has been a great platform for communication along with “live” on social media, Instagram to be specific. Communication and keeping people in the loop is a super key, coming from the perspective of a non business owner! Thanks for sharing!
